Welcome To Dee's Outsider Art
Many years ago the concept of Wormart® came to me after I had bought a mannequin head from a store which was going out of business. My idea was to make this mannequin head look like Medusa using a snake like pattern. However after many attempts of trial and error I developed this new, unique and bizarre art by interweaving earthworm like shapes.
These projects, done by hand using pen and ink and acrylics, are incredibly time intensive. Controlling my breathing while drawing is important to prevent smears. Many times there are multiple projects in different stages of completion.
Since 2000 I have been creating beautiful and unique pieces of fine art through Wormart®. Each work is 'one of a kind' and cannot be duplicated. I'm now offering these works to you, through my website gallery.
There will be pieces added to the site often as my inventory is substantial. Also, should you wish a specific piece that is workable with this process I will attempt to accommodate you.
